A really good punk rock band with country type of roots. Some would call it Cow Punk but I find that's a wack description for such a good band. The only thing negative I can say is a lot of the lesser known songs can sound the same for people who arent fans. But most of their records are really solid. No Pink Floyd genius but all around good stripped down rocknroll.

I only got into Social Distortion Seven or Eight Years ago but they had an immediate impact on me and I just wanted to hear everything they had done, love the way they brought country and old time rock n roll influences into their original punk rock style and Mike Ness is a hugely talented song writer.

Uneven band that has created some really great albums like Prison Bound & Somewhere Between Heaven & Hell as well as albums like White Light that did nothing for me. When they're at the top of their game, magic happens.
The greatest punk band ever and one of my favourite rock 'n' roll artists. Just wonderful music.
