Host of the Seraphim is by far one of the most haunting songs you will ever hear. Elizabeth Fraser's voice is heavenly.
For me, totally unique, although their sound has been copied by lesser groups.

The great band to listen on the live show. They are magically wonderful when performing at the stage, Lisa's voice penetrates deeply inside your soul and body.
Utterly unique, heave sent music. 2 great voices, an amazing soundscape and some of the most inspiring songwriting ever. Love this band.

Eerie and very powerful kind of stuff.
No point in going for a "best of" album if you want to get introduced to their material. It wouldn't make sense. Their albums have a begining a middle and an end, with emotions progressing. So, the point is that you have to listen to the real stuff...
Aion, Within the Realm of a Dying Sun or The Serpent's Egg might be good albums to start from.
