Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some artists can have several thousand ratings)
This artist has a Bayesian average rating of 45.7/100, a mean average of 36.9/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 36.9/100. The standard deviation for this artist is 27.4.

Everything that's bad about the music industry summed up in one band
The cringe, the tackiness, the whole plastic feel of the band; where do you begin with how to describe how god-awful they really were?
Not an authentic fiber in their being.
What was so bad about them? They were funny, original, interesting and just great entertainers. Their music wasn't as "unhealthy" as most of our modern crap from all rap/hip hop/pop stars who can't do without strong language and vulgar nude scenes in their videos. What about talentless Destiny's Child who shaked their fat asses to stay on the top? Spice Girls were good!
In retrospect, the Spice Girls were entertaining. They were not artists; they were entertainers, and they did it well. They were fluffy and fun and harmless. As far as manufactured pop bands go, these girls were alright.
One thing - Destiny's Child asses weren't fat.
