Rock/funk/R&B/soul group that have been around for almost 50 years! Sampled extensively by today's hip-hop artists and inspired the Beatles to record their "Twist & Shout." This band has been one of modern music's long-standing icons that have influenced many, many others. However, do yourself a favor and just pick up one of the many "greatest hits" packages because that's where their strength lies.
