His second album was weaker, but Tea & Sympathy is such a strong album, there is barely a filler track on the whole thing - that even if you compiled my favourite songs of Powderfinger from all of their albums onto one compilation, I would still prefer his first solo album as a stronger effort. For those who love that 'river country' sound in music, be sure to check this one out.
