Fabulous hard rocking, but funky, early 70s band. "Free Spirit" on their first album is completely out of this world, as is "Can't Stop the Madness" on their second album, but all tracks across both albums are extremely good and well written. Nicely textured, heavy guitar sound and lots of swirling Hammond organ give them a Rare Earth feel, but they were unique. Such a shame that, as with the all-female band, Fanny, these girls did not get the recognition and respect they deserved. Even now, they are sadly not seen as the "lost gem" they should be. Their two albums got re-released as a pair on one CD about twenty years after their initial release, but that has now been deleted. Worth looking out for second hand.
