What a voice!
Her career was tragically cut short, but Pearl alone shows her influence in rock music, in a period when women had left the rock genre relatively untouched. As of course, that voice - iconic and unforgettable. Me and Bobby McGee is a favourite song of mine, from any artist.

The most powerful and beautiful voice in history. You can hear the pain in her voice as well as her passion. No one else like her.

I can't believe that at the peak of her career she came to Calgary (!) on tour (the Festival Express tour with The Dead and The Band - the only really succesful stop on the tour).

If you have fallen love with her once, you can't flee from her anymore. Maybe the best word is for her: PASSION.
There has never been another singer like her. The passion and the soul she put into every song are unmatched. Simply Great!
