Classical and symphonic by

This is a list of classical and symphonic music. Although I'm fairly familiar with classical music, it doesn't have the same impact on me as rock music except for one classical piece: Beethoven's 9th which absolutely stands out. The rest of this list is more tending towards modern music or has links with rock music(ians).

The real thing. I know a lot of classical music but most of it doesn't have the same appeal to me as rock music. This one is the absolute exception: I absolutely love beethoven's ninth and appreciate every minute of it in different versions. This is is a nice one also because it is linked to the fall of the Berlin wall!

This is a very special one: Gavin Bryars found a tramp in the streets of London who kept on singing the same words and he turned it into a 74 minutes long album (in the Apple Music version 51 minutes) which indeed is repeating the same words over and over again with additional orchestration added to it from time to time. This might sound boring but there is certain emotional thing about this which makes this suite very moving. And to make it a bit less boring: Tom Waits starts to sing along towards the end.
