Amazing year in music. I had not realised how good it was but it had all the promises of the 60s and none of the errors that would kill the decade about half way. So many classics, by definition, if an album was released in 1970, even if it is a style of music I tend not to like or listen to, it usually ends up good. A really important transition time in music. From 1970-1975 music and the album form truly rules the art and entertainment scene. After that it sort of fell to pick itself up by its own bootstrap and become what it is now. From 1970-75 not only was everything allowed and recorded, but it also sold enough to make a living for musician. It was never like that before except for the big names, and it will likely never be like that ever again.
