Not as good as the previous Green River and Cosmo's Factory but still a good album with great songs.
John Fogerty doesn't write bad songs as his style is deeply rooted on traditional americana. The foundation is always solidly strong and grounded as an oak. (Edited)

A pretty unique entry in the CCR catalog. Very keyboard heavy and heavily influenced by the Mowtown sound. not my favourite CCR album by a longshot, but definitely different. (Edited)
After all the great music they put out in such a short time the wheels were bound to come off at some point. This is a far dropoff from their previous work. It probably would have been best for them to take some time of instead of making this one.
Pendulum is a strong album. Pretty much every CCR record is (let's not talk about Mardi Gras...). But even Pendulum suggests a tough sonic turn nearer to the end for this groundbreaking group.
Highlights include Pagan Baby and Have You Ever Seen the Rain. Overall, it's a decent record, but falls a bit short of their previous achievements. (Edited)

This album was a slight disappointment. It has less lead guitar and more organ than their previous albums. Still, It's good. (Edited)
