Americana at it's finest. Preceded Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and any other southern-boogie band. Dripping with bayou flavours. Great licks and riffs, catchy melodies and strong lyrics.

The ultimate blue collar American rock band. What elevated them was Fogerty's ability to write songs that both rocked and has mass appeal and one of the most solid rythym sections of all time.

Its strange reading these comments about how CCR are under rated and unrecognized. Actually they were the most successful band of the period. It was unanimous that they're the best American band EVER. Nobody thought otherwise. Even now they're thought of this way. Anyone over 30, anywayl
