Because I have to own the album if it goes onto any of my charts, I have found this the hardest decades list to do but here it is, for what it's worth. If anyone has any suggestions for '50's albums for me to investigate please let me know.

There's a wealth of great female vocal jazz albums from the 50's that I think you'd like - Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee, early Nina Simone, Abbey Lincoln, Julie London, Helen Merrill, Chris Connor, Anita O'Day, and one of my favorite hidden treasures, Ethel Ennis.

Nice list! Missing some artists like Chuck Berry and I find Johnny Cash to be more a song by song artist than having amazing records, but I can look past that. Miles David and Howlin' Wolf being up there is dope.

You should check out some Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley and BB King. It would add more depth to your chart.
