1965, año de la bisagra, año en el cual el mundo de la música popular daría uno de sus mas significativas vueltas de tuerca, año en el que se crea un antes y un después popular, año en que el rock pasa a ser de música de grouppies, a música para mentes aun mas pensantes y reflexivas, año en que de dejan los trajes y la vestimenta cambia al "rock star", año en que las bandas de rock se dan cuenta de que pueden ser libres, año en que la generación beatnick termina definitivamente, año en que se comienza a gestar el pre-hippie, año en que Bob Dylan reconstruye el rock, rompiendo paradigmas y soportando las balas auditivas con solo su guitarra, su pecho y uno que otro valiente escudero que le acompañe a resistir esta metamorfosis, nadie dijo que ser un genio era fácil, mucho menos intentar mostrar dicha genialidad.Todo sea por enseñar el camino...

1966 The Beatles evolucionan rápidamente y no están dispuestos a repetirse una y otra vez, este álbum es el mejor ejemplo, en el que la experimentación era una tentadora opción creando su trabajo mas arriesgado auditivamente. El cambio de ciudad (de Liverpool a Londres) tiene sus efectos, ahora intentan música vanguardista, a diferencia de excelencia como en el caso de "Rubber Soul (1965)", pero el resultado es un Álbum pop excelentemente vanguardista. Como auténticos reyes midas realizando temas grabados con guitarras a la inversa así como somníferas melodías, tienen como resultado obras para la posteridad.

16 de Mayo 1966, paradogicamente el mismo día del lanzamiento de "Blond On Blond" de Dylan, y despues de haber escuchado el "Ruber Soul", The Beach Boys sacan un álbum casi conceptual, que peliaria al tu por tu con los Fab Fours, casi superandolos, increibles coros y armonías épicas, un preámbulo al mejor disco de rock que jamas vio la luz.
