Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 90.2/100, a mean average of 89.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.6/100. The standard deviation for this track is 14.8.

Should be in the Top 10 of the songs of all time. Personally, this is my favourite song, so I can't be objective about a masterpiece like this.

One of my fav Beatles songs, only the Beatles can make a song this good with 4 mins of "Na, na, na, na na na na, na na na na"

Great song but doesn't belong in 80's. Just because the comp is released then doesn't mean it was made then.

Hard to believe that this is ranked only #1224 on BEA favorite tracks...I remember buying this as a single, of course, it wasn't on the White album, but the flip side was "Revolution" which puts it in the category of one of the greatest doubled sided singles of all time...I think that they were going for the longest single ever made at 7:11 seconds but "Macarthur Park"(1968) still holds that title at 7:20...so sad that I remember this..
