Liars made one of the most tension filled albums of recent memory that works more as an art piece than an album. It really is too bad this one will never get the attention it deserves.

Sort of a new way to render No Wave. There is melody but without any logic direction in its evolution. Instead, the focus is all on the martial/obsessive drum patterns or in the pictorial use of guitars.
What's interesting and intriguing is that this kind of No Wave does not sacrifice care on sound production neither variety among the tracks. Almost each song is very discernable: in a NoWave-ish album, that's really precious!
Currently a favorite of mine.
