Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. This record is actually a compilation originally released only in the US. It's a shame Peter Green had so many mental health problems, he was a fantastic guitar player and could have had a stellar career. McVie and Fleetwood also shine as one of the best rhythm sections in rock history. The cover is funny and twisted. I wonder who's idea it was to put Mick Fleetwood in drag?

Un gran álbum para introducirse a la época de Fleetwood Mac más bluesera con Peter Green como guitarrista. Contiene extraordinarias canciones como Love That Burns, Black Magic Woman y las instrumentales Albatross y Jigsaw Puzzle Blues. Recomendable para descubrir que hay vida más allá de Lindsey Buckingham y Stevie Nicks.

The best album of Peter Green-era Fleetwood Mac. Not a weak track and two classical masterpieces as listed by JuJu83.
Although it's an uneven album, Fleetwood Mac's "English Rose" features two of blues guitar virtuoso Peter Green's best-known works: the ethereal "Albatross," and the (now standard, via Santana) "Black Magic Woman."
Green played guitar with a talent on par with Clapton and Page - it's truly a loss to the world of music that he left Fleetwood Mac soon after this.
