A very good live album, and also one of the first 3 albums I ever owned! Being young and stupid, I thought "I want both of their biggest songs on one record," so I got this. A bad decision in hindsight, but thankfully there are multiple cuts here that make it worthwhile.

Behind The Sea just sounds amazing live. I like it just as much, if not more than the studio version since it manages to capture the magic of the song at a slightly faster pace. It feels like it has more focus as well.

Something very nice about this album is hearing Ryan Ross singing the harmonies and in-between parts. I've always loved his voice, and I wish he made more appearances in the studio. Apparently he's been working on a solo album! Such a great songwriter, I wish him all the best.

Anyway, other highlights include Mad As Rabbits, But It's Better If You Do, and TAGRTTANHYJHTOIY. They all gain something a little special from the live performance and feel different enough from the studio version to work.

This was a very strong performance all around, even if certain songs from the first album don't translate well into this setting (I Write Sins Not Tragedies, Time To Dance). The bonus material on the cd is worth a listen as well.

Basically, if you're a fan of the band's early incarnation, I'm sure you'd be satisfied picking this up.
