I've been listening to this for a year, and I am still loving it so much. This is one of the greatest albums ever. It's well ahead of its time, filled with punk influence, but with tremendously diverse and dynamic songwriting. Let It Be is everything a great album ought to be.

A true classic. This album has so much emotion and angst, but is also incredible catchy and listenable. Some of these songs are some of the best ever, I Will Dare, Androgynous, Sixteen Blue, Unsatisfied, We're Coming out. Wait every song is amazing. If you don't listen to this album you're missing out big time on one of the greatest albums, not just of the 80's, but of all time.

Perfectly balanced production, The Replacements were staying true to a punk aesthetic while trying to branch out into something else. Arguably one of the biggest turning points for early alternative.

The Replacements deserve more love around here. When this album came out The Replacements had a reputation as a drunken sloppy punk-influenced and Stones influenced rock band. But little did the public know that hiding amongst that drunken sloppy fourpiece was an incredible songwriter who could write songs with uncanny emotional honesty and depth. Let It Be proved The Replacements weren't just a one-trick pony; Paul Westerberg and Co had a lot more to offer.
