On some days I would agree, though usually I'd rank Darkness and Born to Run over this one, for sure. That said, this album is easily his most beautiful and in my top 3 of his and will always rank among my favorites albums ever.

His best for sure. Much more honest and human than his other albums, the height of his story telling career. Atlantic City is his finest moment.

So fucking good. Soooooo effing goooood! I really like it. It's, as of now, by far my favorite Springsteen album from the 5 or 6 I've heard in full. His songwriting and just the emotional aspect of the album is so stark and beautiful. One of my favorite "one person and his guitar"-type albums. Tht song about the brother having to confront the other brother as a cop, I forget which one that is, is friggin AMAZING! So is Atlantic City and a bunch of others from here. _________________ -Ryan
