The music is for the most-part upbeat yet since this is a Best Coast record the lyrics are often quite self-deprecating, yet this doesn't mean tracks such as "Fear of my Identity" or the opener "This ..." "This may be sacrilege to some, but I'm fine with Pavement as a "singles band" as it were. I've never found anything especially unique about the experience of listening to any given album, but I love the tracks!" Reply
