Modest Mouse, Flaming Lips, and Polyphonic Spree fans should like this band, and everyone else will probably just have to continue to scoff at quotidian 00's indie-rock comparisons until annoying forum posters finally stop making them.
This was released during the pre-"Where Is Kate?" era, but hopefully he'll have perfected his clone-tool technique in time for the next album, "Past Present," which is due out on August 31, 2024.
