At first it became my favourite Pavement album, not the same story now. However, it's still universally beautiful in only a way Pavement could do.

If you didn't know about their first four albums (really three worthwhile), you'd appreciate this album more. As it is, it's a step back from the height of its predecessors.
I discovered Pavement after their split. I don't have a "personal history" with these albums too. For these ears, every Pavement album was better than the previous one ... what a band !

One of the best bands of the 90's closes out the decade and their career (unless rumors of their reunification are correct) with the slightly disappointing Terror Twilight. Their first two albums were classics, followed by two merely great albums, and then this one.
I guess it's kinda good in a way if pavement don't release another album. Five back to back brilliant albums contained within one decade, what's not to love about that? off this album the last 2 tracks are killer, the rest of it's very good but those 2 just make it for me.
