Please note that this match is just for fun. Given the unusual circumstances surrounding Kiki's involvement in this tournament, it would be unfair for WindowAbove to have to face someone with all of the best of 1958 to pick from.

So, 1998 will get the win. WindowAbove's team's pretty damn good here, though, so he might get it anyway.

Damn it, kiki, why you have to ruin it! Lol

Anyway, even without the automatic loss, the teams are nicely matched, but almost nothing would get me to go against that absolutely stunning hip hop trifecta of Aquemini, ...are Black Star, and the grand masterwork that is Gang Starr's Moment of Truth. Plus that Refused record is dope and Moon Safari is cool fun, and the singles are fabulous for '98 to boot. Relatively easy vote to one of the sexiest teams we've yet seen, 1998.

....? Neutral

Well... I'm lost on what's happening behind the scenes, but I prefer the '58 team, so I'm voting that.

I'm also confused.

Sp4ce, I'm not sure what you mean by this

Does that mean that 1958 loses no matter what because the first few rounds were weak?

I'm not really sure how it's any different than Jherry missing a week and having more to choose from because of it.

In both cases, they may be stronger this round, but had to lose badly in order to have that advantage.

It's not to punish 1958, which has already been eliminated, but to be fair to 1998. You and I basically got free wins because Kiki didn't seem to understand the game (or said he didn't), while WindowAbove is facing someone who had no part in 1958 prior to this round, has already fielded four winning teams in the tournament, and who has basically the entire year to choose from for his team.

I dunno about that. Kiki at least posted teams. And most of the albums he used were among the biggest of the year. The singles were the problem, but 1958 is just a thin year in comparison to more modern years to begin with.

Not that's I'm complaining, but I thin it's weird to give 1998 a free win just because earlier rounds were weak. Those 1958 teams still had a chance. Not like when people have completely failed to post teams for a round, which has given them a stockpile for future rounds.

That's not what I said.

If Kiki had been working with alelsupreme from the beginning or decided on this team himself, it would be kosher, but that's not what happened.

I know this isn't a black-and-white situation, but I'm gonna stand by the judgement call. In a more serious competition, I'm sure Defago would have insisted on co-captains being chosen ahead of time and alel would never have had the option of taking over the team.

But yes, this is weird. With Kiki involved, that was inevitable. Laughing
