Not as good as Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, Etc. or Bridge over Troubled Waters but still a classic.

Simon & Garfunkel are a band I like in small doses, but they grate on me over the course of an album. I don't really know why but I've just never really clicked with their music, even though I'd like too. A lot of people whose taste in music I trust are fans, but they're just a bit "meh" to me. That said, 'America' is one of the greatest songs ever written.

Many, S&G are the 3rd greatest 60s group, the 2nd greatest American act and the greatest folk-group/artist of all time (S&G>>>>>>Bob Dylan) and Bookends is a true masterpiece. Of course. I loved it, still do. Yes. No. Because it's...

I unfortunately associate S&G with tie-died ratty haired German travellers - you know the ones I mean.. permanent stench of patchouli, dogs on ropes and guitars strapped to their backs that get whipped out at the drop of a camp fire!
So to enjoy S&G, I am forced to overcome my inner tourettes (GET A FUCKING WASH) when i stick on one of their albums!
Definitely prefer 'Sounds of Silence' to 'Bookends' but 'Bookends' is still pretty good I guess (CUT YOUR BLOODY HAIR, NITFACE)..

While i understand how life experiences can influence one's preferences, i have no idea what this refers to. It surely seems traumatic though! _________________ fav artists NOW | ALL-TIME favs | i listen 2 more music than u so u don't have 2!

Weird. I associate them with old people, drinking cofee/tea on a grey, cozy sunday afternoon, stuff like that. I also associate them with a girl, but that's just boring. _________________ "The Beatles, the greatest band known to mankind." - Bismah Mughal
