I was going to make fun of it, and then I remembered that I had actually never listened to it. Also, I quite enjoy Only By The Night. Ah, damn you, peer pressure.
Without meaning to sound too pretentious, this is one of those great, post-Strokes/Is This It albums that's rocking and fun, never terribly profound, but has an ever subtle melancholic edge that makes the album that much more notable. For what this is, it's one of the best of its kind. Definitely the highlight of Kings of Leon's solid discography.
