Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. I didn't find this one as powerful as Down with the Sickness. Each song seemed like the last, whereas on DwtS each song stood on it's own legs. That said though, it was still a solid album. Some of the best tracks are the title track and I'm Alive for me. Very good piece of work though. Could have been shorter and needed a little variety but not bad at all.
The song '10 thousand fists' is bound to get you pumped.

This is the only Disturbed album I've listened to and apparently it isn't there best.. which makes me think I could like this band more than I already do. Not so much a fan of the instrumental aspect of it as much as I am of the vocals.
