Of tyhe many album releases by the U.S. crooners of the 1950s and 60s, this one by Dean Martin is one of my favourites. He gives a nice lilt to a lot of very familiar songs, without ever seeking to resort to anything more than his own personal talent. His relaxed manner lacks any arrogance whatsoever; and that is just as it should be.
