There's no reason to downplay Son Seals overall, but the reason to own this is the atypical track "I Can Count On My Blues," which is like Barry White got the Allman Brothers to back him on a single. In a good way...

Son Seals gritty. Soulful voice and superb guitar perfectly bring these excellent blues songs to life.
