Not quite as ambitious as later live recordings, but solid nonetheless.

The album 'August And Everything After ' performed in full live in concert at Town Hall New York City on September 18, 2007. It's their classic 1993 album alright - but not as you know it
For starters this live album comes it at 76 minutes compared to the originals 51 minutes . Opening things is an 11 minute of "Round Here" , further on there is a 9 minute "Sullivan Street" and an 11 minute "Murder of One" . Unfortunately these extended versions add nothing to the original versions and ultimately are simply boring.
3 moments stood out for mine as album highlights:
(1) Duritz' pre-amble prior to "Perfect Blue Buildings"
(2) A rollicking cracking performance of "Rain King"
and
(3) Duritz' introduction to "Sullivan Street"
If you love 'August and Everything After' this album is a must even if the replay-ability is low
