All of their albums have merit, some more than others obviously and I really like this band.
The band spend their spare time completing ornithological surveys
Although they only have 1 or 2 great albums, they have more than a couple of album's worth of great songs.
Come on... totally underrated band by the masses. Incredible discography all around, and live band!
One album wonder? No. Recovering the Satellites and This Desert Life are just as good, if not better.
Disagree with the one album wonder statement. Their albums are consistently engaging and full of great songs. Agree that the first album was clearly their best but the second was almost as good and the rest are pretty good too. They are the most consistent of the other bands in their same vein: Wallflowers, Train, etc.

Is it fair to call these guys a one-album wonder? It seems to me that it is. The one album was indeed a wonder - great pop-rock. Otherwise? They never even came close.
