I love this album more and more with each listen, and I find myself getting sucked into the lyrics and the overall mood of the album to the point where I just want to start it over again as soon as it's over. One of my favourites of 2017 so far.

Very nostalgic for some reason.

It seem's everytime my response to an album is "what the fuck", I end up loving it.

Easily one of my favourite albums from them in years. It feels like it shares many spiritual connections with the seminal, Fabulous Muscles. "Get Up" is like the most stereotypically Xiu Xiu ever conceived.

Another fine example why Xiu Xiu have been my favourite artistes of the decade. More unhinged, neurotic pop songs, more experimental pieces showing a willingness to try out new ideas, and for the first time, referencing their own past, particularly their classic 2004 album Fabulous Muscles e.g. (Get Up, Petite). Long may they continue their own distinctive and individual journey
