Although Rich Mullins would move on to better projects in the 90s, his debut album is full of the unique self-reflecting lyrics he was prized for. It's too bad much of the album suffers from some poor EQing and mixing, which admittedly may be an issue of the early digital master. However, it is still odd to hear Rich sing over 80s synths and drum machines. "Elijah" is the clear standout track.
