My favourite Joey Bada$$ album. Not a bad song, the album came at a perfect time in USA's history.
A not very interesting but still listenable album. Thought I liked it more than I really did on first listen. Reminds me of J. Cole, but not as good.

A little lacking in terms of variety, but I dig it.
While the album has a strong message, the beats do not keep up with it, and a few songs feel like they should be on different albums.
First half is pretty corny IMO. I get that Joey didn't want his message to get lost in translation but I feel like I'm getting beat over the head. Lyrically the second half is a lot better but the production is lacking compared to the first half. I wish Joey mixed his modern sound with his 90s sound rather than separate them into two separate halves like he did on this album.
Noteworthy 2017 album, as of now. Can't help but get into Devastated,

Themes are great but execution is poor. Joey's lyrics don't interest me.
Good conceptually , and some really good tracks from joey and co. on this one. One of the better rap albums from the last 2 years.
