The Daniel Lanois influence inks through this album; much like it did on Dylan's contemporaneous 'Oh Mercy' album, also produced by Lanois. Both album have Willie Green on drums. I've included the cover of Dylan's 'With God On Our Side' on my top 100 Dylan covers chart. Apart from all that, I really like this album on its own terms.

Atmospheric production by Daniel Lanois adds to the spiritual ambiance of this stellar Neville Brothers album.
This is a really good record. The Neville Brothers at their peak.

Average album. Best 10 songs average is 71,0/100 and the album can get average 70/100. Ok I'm not very fan of this kind of music anyway. Listened through until song 9 only. Best song is "Yellow moon" average 75/100.

Yellow Moon is a good, listenable record. "With God On Our Side" makes it worth having alone, but there are good songs, vocals and playing throughout. About as good as The Neville's get.
