Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 77.2/100, a mean average of 76.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.6.

I like this way more than Madvillain or MF DOOM, probably because of the addition of the outrageous Adult Swim characters. I don't even like the cartoons, they're ridiculously stupid. That they made a hysterical album speaks to the work of Danger Mouse and DOOM.

This is one of the greatest DOOM albums ever..

If you are familiar with Adult Swim at all than you will find this album hilarious. Guest features for the tracks include characters from many Adult Swim shows and there is even a song about Aqua Teen Hunger Force ('A.T.H.F.') which is one of my favorites. Master Shake appears quite a bit on this album and we even get some bars from Meatwad at the very end..

The production on this album is killer. Danger Mouse chose a style that fit perfectly for DOOM's distinct flow and the instrumentals go hand in hand with his bizarre storytelling.

A solid album. Doom and Mouse compliment each other quite well.

My favourite Doom album, just about. I just think that lyrically the album contains so many quotables and lines that have me reaching for the rewind button. And the beats are the most accessible he's ever rapped over. I understand why people prefer Madvillain (it is also a stunning album), but this one's a percy.

This is a nice album if you don't feel like diving headfirst into Madvillainy or DOOM's solo stuff. It's like a gateway drug I guess. Speaking of drugs, it's probably better on them. Not that I'd know.
