This album is well beyond criminally underrated and good lord are not 13000 albums better. The lone sour point is the instrumental Late for supper which eventually blossoms into a nice piece of music.
I can understand folks not getting on board with the Dead (even though at their best, they were excellent) but Garcia is elite folk rock. (Edited)

Terrific and creative, first solo album by Captain Trips. Has spicy sacked out segments mixed with some tight lyrics and excellent musicianship. Jerry at the top of his game. (Edited)
