One of the greatest debut albums of all-time. His turn of phrase is immense, and the minimalist retro beats are perfect. I'm a little disappointed that 'Hide My Tears' (one of the highlights IMO) got cut from the reissue due to sampling issues, which is a shame. Anyway, there are so many great tunes here, but my favourites are the aforementioned 'Hide My Tears', as well as 'Jungle Fever', 'Snow' and 'Thug's Prayer'. The major shock is that he somehow managed to better this with Reloaded. A stunning rapper.
