Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 67.4/100, a mean average of 64.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 66.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 19.1.

This is Cupcakke's best album to date, she is able to mix in more humanizing elements with her usually raunchy raps. It's far more personal than the rest of her projects.

Puta talento!
Cupcakke delivers another LP that is consistently pleasing and a lot of fun !
Ephorize may not be amazing, but it does show the great potential and promise of Cupcakke. Although it may get repetitive I loved listening to it and can't wait to listen to Cupcakke's next works.
Now, I really enjoyed this the first 2 times I listened to it. But after repeated listens, when I got past all that initial energy, the cringy lyrics really came to light. I get that it's supposed to be a fun, 'ignant' album but the lyrics, even on 'deep' songs like Self Interview, sound like they're written by a 4th grader.
I agree with Pepsi, the beats make almost all the songs sound the same.
This album was fun for like the first 5 songs then it felt like i'm listening to the same song over and over again. Was a chore to go thru the whole 16 tracks, shit got boring real quick.
it would've been a good album if it was cut to 8-10 tracks instead of 16, and used different beats instead of these annoying trap/club unoriginal beats.
it felt like i'm listening to a gay Meek Mill album.

this is so fun to listen to
Damn this shit was dope. I can tell she was influenced by Missy Elliot. Making music that has character and would spit out rappers that are faking it. Not the most lyrically deep or the craziest production highs. But a short and engaging listen from beginning to end.
Very much a continuation of last year's impressive "Queen Elizabitch", "Ephorize" also contains that juicy blend of raunchy romps and hardcore conscious rap. Really, the only thing stopping this from being on the same level as "Broke With Expensive Taste", for example, is the production, which serves CupcakKe's excellent rhymes and flow just fine, but fails to be innovative or thought-provoking. This is no masterpiece, but CupcakKe is on top form and this really should be her moment to shine (and to get signed), let's hope it is.
