Não tem nenhuma faixa fraca. Lindo os elementos de folk.
El disco con el que charly empieza a despegar enormemente, lo que vendria un genio
"Más que una anécdota...una película Thriller!!!"
Tercer disco del más grande músico de rock de habla hispana. En éste disco se deja la letra adolescente o más cursi por una letra más madura y oscura. "Instituciones" se adentra más aún en el rock progresivo, de lo que ya se habían adentrado un par de temas en discos posteriores. El final magnífico, al más puro estilo queen (sin que todavía haya salido a night at the opera). El disco sigue progresivo , "Tango en segunda", "El show de los muertos", "Las increíbles aventuras...", "pequeñas anécdotas" donde garcía incursiona en los sintetizadores que son la marca de éste disco. Y bueno, dos obras maestras como son "Juan Represión" y "Música de fondo", hacen de éste disco la mejor despedida a una de las grandes bandas del rock latino, Sui generis. Tremenda banda!!!!
Cunado lo escuché por primera vez, fue por mucho tiempo mi álbum favorito de rock en español.
Se deja un poco de lado el folk (no del todo) para adentrarse en el rock progresivo con muchos toques electrónicos. Lo que hace Charly con los sintetizadores muestra claramente que es un estudiado y no un novato.
Ademas las historias de censura tras el álbum, y como le hicieron para publicarlo le da un extra de sentimiento cuando lo escucha alguien que vivió en la época, muchas metáforas, muchos doble sentidos, mucha protesta escondida.
Canciones favoritas: Instituciones, el show de los muertos, Música de fondo... Todas.

A mi gusto personal el mejor disco de Sui Generis, la mezcla del folk con el progresivo me parece una gran experiencia.

Me parece mas un disco de transición que otra cosa, porque fue cuando charly empezó a dejar el Folk atras y comenzó a componer Rock Progresivo. Es por eso que este disco no me termina de gustar, porque mezcla las dos cosas y no me cierra el resultado. De todas maneras tiene buenas canciones por momentos, pero para eso escucho la maquina!!!

Amazing album. Marks the change from Sui Generis' previous folky sound into the progressive sound which would remain well into Garcia's following project, La Maquina de Hacer Pajaros.
The album itself is their first concept album (each track represents an institution from the argentinian government). It's got very fluid transitions between tracks, but each one is clearly differentiable from each other. Has a very fragile, yet strong sound; sad, yet hopeful.
Best tracks: Musica de Fondo, Juan Represion, El Show de los Muertos.
Best thing ever to come out of argentinian music, in my opinion.
