As perfect and cohesive as an album should be
I always think of dark side as a 43 minute song. but don't get me wrong with that
Its Awesome how all the songs work with such synchronicity talking about very powerful topics like Death, Madness, Time in human life, etc.
The Level of production is so high, you will think this record was recorded in 2021 (yeah its 2020)
Perfect Album that will start the first out of 3 Perfect Albums

Best Hard Rock Album Ever
I mean come on, every song here is a 90-100 except for "four sticks"
I was at my 2 year in College when i arrive at my apartment and my roomie was listening to "Misty Mountain Hop" at madison square garden and for that moment Led Zeppelin blew my mind and change my musical experience because i wanted to know more and more and discover new genres, bands and artists
Member by member Led Zeppelin is the best band ever and this is their best work

The Absolute Best Concept Album of All Time

A Bisexual Alien with no Gender comes to Earth to become a Rock Star When the planet only has 5 years of Life, and that's only the first 2 Songs !!!!
I Don't want to spoil you with the rest of the story so get your headphones and start listening, for those who knows this one you know what im talking :)
A perfect Record with some of the best songs of in my opinion the Best Solo Recording artist (Tied With Miles Davis i think)
You have to play the record, close your eyes and picture the 38:29 minutes of Creativeness Bowie have with this one because the recorded this and Hunky Dory in just 1 Year!!!

Thank you For all Space Man

Isn't it a pity Ian Died and left only 2 albums?

Please if you have never heard this, wait until night put your headphones on and listen to what Ian Curtis and his band wanted to say
this album is a experience, I never get enough of the ambient this one creates, travels me to a dark and unfaithful planet, the lyrics about desolation and human alienation are great and Ian vocal performance is terrific
Some "kids" carrying by themselves a new sub-genre and a new wave from music to come

For a While this was my Favorite Floyd and Progressive Album

I was in college when i start listening to Floyd, first Dark Side and the next one was this Masterpiece and this album absorb me, i remember i went out in the middle of the night just driving around the city at 2 AM listening to the entire Album just or fun with like 19-20 years

The 5 songs here are 9s and 10s at worst, its like a trip really (Like Most Floyd Albums) with songs that really have a social commentary reflecting a more maturity and criticism in Water's lyrics, for always its impossible to not put this album in a best progressive album list and in this case in a Best Ever Albums list.

Marvin Talking to us about the Vietnam war , hatred, ecological issues in a concept album

This Album music is like flying and the lyrics some of the better for protesting out there, this one was the first record Marvin Produced and has aged beautiful and in my opinion the best Motown Album in existence
We have to take in count Marvin was passing into a failed marriage with Anna Gordy, his partner Tammi Terrell and with a cocaine addiction ending with a failed attempt of suicide with a shotgun
This Album too is an experience and everybody should hear it

In occasions i consider this as the Top Notch Pink Floyd Album

I listen to this just weeks after listening to Dark Side of the Moon and cached me in a way not so many albums had, Lyrics are awesome, Guitar Solos from Gilmour are Top, 3 songs over 10 minutes that feel perfect, Thematic is peculiar inspired by Animal Farm by George Orwell, Roger Waters demonstrate he was one of the best songwriters and musicians ever, this was the conclusion of 3 excellent Albums and the best run from any artist beside The Beatles

One of the Most Influential Albums of All Time

Bowie at the peak of his powers, the album that begun the Berlin Trilogy, with production giants like Tony Visconti and Brian Eno, the First half og the album sounds electronic, experimental but the second half is the real beginning of Ambient music as we know it on this part of the planet alone with Another Green World by Brian Eno Also, this album isa experience sounds like an utopic future and Warszawa & Subterraneans are just a perfect example of that word, sometimes this is my favorite Bowie album, aslo Bowie is the Best Solo Artist of the Century.
This Album influenced acts like Joy Division, Nine Inch Nails, Wire, The Cure just to name a Few

Stevie Wonder has to be one of the most talented musicians if not the most talented

Stevie grow from a child prodigy to an all time great, when Motown finally let stevie do whatever he wanted with his music this kind of albums stevie provided, perfect album, every song here is great, no filler, no bad song}
He almost play every instrument on this project (Piano, Drums, Vocals, Synthesizers, Harmonica, Clavinet, Congas) even he did Backing Vocals, This album and Songs in the Key of Life are the perfect example of what a talented man can achieve
You can help to sing or to dance to this well crafted songs and i love it

Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart is rated in the top 14% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 87.6/100, a mean average of 88.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.4/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 12.9.

This guy must be a fan of Jorge Luis Borges given the number of Argentine artists that are on this chart. Solid list.

Great to see so much Stevie Wonder love on your seventies chart! I remember listening to Stevie a lot as a kid, and he's remained in regular rotation in my record collection ever since. Great chart!

hello again dude
I listened to the Jose Jose album Lo Pasado, Pasado.
Although I read he is popular round the world I hadn't heard of him.
It is a really good album. He has a good voice. I liked the title track best, and his Billy Joel cover.
And I read Frank Sinatra was a fan and a friend of his. Talented guy.
so thank you, it's good to discover new artists.

47 albums in common
awesome list man
many, many Yes-es from me.
good work

I think the 70s was the best decade for albums.
the 50's were dynamic and the 60s were revolutionary but the 70s was such a fertile time for music.
It's my favourite decade.
If I could just put Beatles, psychedelic Floyd, Sam Cooke and Etta James' 60s albums into the 70s decade it would be the ultimate!
great chart Dude.

Definitely your best list.
On top of that, 40 albums in common.
I guess it's not difficult for the 70s. Everyone pretty much agrees on that era of music.
