Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. First released in 1975 it features all the singles released up to that point by Lennon/Plastic Ono Band also includes a different version of Mother than the one used as a single. A great collection of songs that fit well on the one album though the full version of Give Peace A Chance could have been included instead of Woman Is The ....Of The World. The single Stand By Me had also been released in 1975 but was available on the Rock N Roll album.
A good compilation but the songs taken out the context of the original albums lose some of their impact.
