A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. I like this chart with many artists and albums that I love but with at least half I've not heard - but since I like so much of it then I will get round to trying out some of those albums. Very British-centric though

Nice chart. Lots of british (for the first time I could say "maybe too many?") and some nice prog surprises like Porucpine Tree or Marillion towards the end. Some comments on your choices would be great.

With many progressive bands, as well as some of the all time classic
