Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 44.9/100, a mean average of 37.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 37.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 22.5.

Tekashi 69 is the new hype of hip-hop ... Just because he has a strange style, he is considered a genius by some people. A single listening will be enough to finish me, it's already not bad but without originality (even this hair is mainstream in 2018). 6ix9ine makes a catchy music that stays in the head and can become addictive. Sincerely, it's hard to not move your head while listening to this Mixtape. Otherwise, there is not really much to save musically even if "Gummo", "Mooky", "93" and "Billy" have their little effect.
4/10
Lol who's the one who put an Adventure Time background on this album cover?
I actually like 6ix9ine the personality more than I like 6ix9ine the rapper
Fav Track: GOTTI
I gave this album a chance, I actually like Fetty more than you'd expect, so I stumbled in expecting something fun out of KEKE. It's a little bit of an obscure song in construction, it just jumps all over the place tonally. The whole album suffers from these moments of "Grrr I'm a loud angery man" and "oops hang on gotta get a hook in".
The album, as a whole, just feels lazy in production and construction. I've seen the defense that it's supposed to be loud and raw and in your face, but if that's the case, I think there's a million projects that have done that better, from Death Grips to Jpegmafia to DMX. I've seen people say it's supposed to be more similar to Nu Metal than hip-hop, and I don't think that excuses the lazy, ugly sound either, because for as much as I'm not a huge Nu Metal guy, someone like RATM at least has an exact place to throw their anger at, and even then I don't think this was his intention because there's too much indecision on what the project is supposed to be.
As a whole, this record sounds uninspired and lazy, tonally uncertain, commercialized in a bizarre sense of the word, and as a whole, there's just a million other things I would rather have spent 27 minutes doing. It only rarely leans into being actively unpleasant, which honestly made the whole experience worse because if the whole thing was grimy and dirty and unpleasant I think there'd be more of a place for that in my heart.
This is all separating the art from the artist, even and I don't like the guy but he seemed to have interesting ideas that were just absolutely lost and wasted on this project.
These artists like 6ix9ine, Lil Uzi, Lil Pump, Xan, etc. are the reason why the rap/hip-hop industry have gone down the drain lately. It is a joke now that we have given these people enough attention to make them famous. They are weak, uneducated, and unskilled. They rely on shock value (crazy colored hair and teeth with absurd tattoos) rather than talent to get noticed. They wouldn't stand a chance against real rappers from 90s-2000s
This is punk rap. Gangsta rap filtered thru a punk rock filter. Raw in your face hard hitting two minute songs that come at you one after the other. A breath of fresh air to a genre that was starting to grow stale. The artist knows how to manipulate social media which has many up in arms but I say it shows some intelligence and a keen business acumen despite his street mentality and lack of formal education.
