Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 50.3/100, a mean average of 40.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 40.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 25.7.

Exceto um vocal levemente interessante e um espírito juvenil, quase punk, pouco acrescenta ao cenário atual.
I know i am in the minority of over 40 year olds but i like this kids music. his trolling was another story, though he did often make me laugh. His personal issues aside i see him as a punk rock presence in the hip hop world and he seems to have had much the same polarizing effect with his minimalist and aggressive approach to music, much like punk. go ahead and down vote because you don't like him, i am a big boy and can take the heat, but this is an honest assessment of how i personally feel about his music. I find it refreshing in the stale hip hop genre.
I mean it's better than day69...
Even though Dummy Boy is only about 30 mins long it is stylistically all over the place, and it doesn't do that well at an single one of these styles. The instrumentals are much more interesting this time round but 6ix9ine doesn't seem to know what to do with them. He is consistently outshone by every single feature on here, and yes, that includes Tory Lanez, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Bobby Shmurda over a prison phone. The only real winner here is Nicki Minaj who manages to get something out of two tracks that feel dead on arrival.
The poppier tracks are probably the most awful. 6ix9ine just doesn't sound good on autotune, (think Lil Pump on 'I love it') and it gets into far more trcks than it deserves to. The worst of these is the maddeningly lifeless 'BEBE' which is immediately followed up by 'MALA' which is almost as awful. These are easily the worst two tracks of the year, in any genre. The louder tracks are better but still nothing special. The instrumentals on these never sound out of place but feel like they would work better if they were heavier at least once. It kind of makes the aggressive vocal performances feel toothless in this setting. If you like this style at all please listen to City Morgue instead. Also Kanye fans beware, 'KANGA' rivals 'Ye vs. the People' for a terrible back and forth Yeezy track.
One plus point is that I'm pretty sure I only heard "SCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG" once across the whole project.
