Good release from a quality songwriter. I like the simplicity but also enjoy the few risks she takes to make her sound more unique.
I was hooked immediately with 'Your Dog'. Soccer Mommy is one of my favorite 90's-revival acts that have sprouted up recently. Very heartfelt album.
Favorite tracks: Your Dog, Scorpio Rising, Wildflowers

This is one of those albums that I listened to once and thought was average and mostly unremarkable. But in the following weeks I found myself returning to it more and more. It's now probably my favorite album of 2018 and one of my favorites of the decade. There are so many unassuming hooks that really sink themselves in over a few listens. And the lyrics are raw, personal, and extremely relatable. Can't wait to see where her career goes.

She has a distinct personality and enough ideas of her own to stand out as one of the more promissing artists of the recent 90s-romantic revival, even if the songs themselves can feel a bit musty or cloying after awhile. Def more interested in what she does next than constantly returning to this album in it's entirity

If Liz Phair circa Exile On Guyville had a miracle child with Phoebe Bridges then Sophie Allison AKA Soccer Mommy would be the outcome , and this is a massive compliment
So much to like here from the opener "Still Clean" which bleeds into one ear at it's conclusion to "Cool" which ultimately deconstructs into a warped mess (when I first heard this I thought my IPOD was broken !) , I don't wanna be your fucking "Your Dog" is great , "Flaw" is more Phoebe Bridgeish than Phoebe Bridges , whilst "Wildflowers" is dripping with Liz Phair inspiration
If your looking for a great female solo album start with Mitski's 'Be The Cowboy' then look here , 'Clean' is definitely one of 2018's best releases
