Low Cut Connie’s fifth album was recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis the same location Big Star recorded their seminal 3 albums , so its of no surprise an Alex Chilton solo cover is included on this album & of course I'm talking about the final track "Hey ! Little Child" which originally appeared on Chiltons weird 1979 album 'Like Flies on Sherbert"

Low Cut Connie are making some the most interesting music going around ATM . Channelling Jerry Lee Lewis and a live feel 'Dirty Pictures (Part 2) ' is a rollicking fun release chock full of pianos , original melodies and incredible energy
Really excellent stuff and one of 2018'2 better albums
