Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 79.1/100, a mean average of 77.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 79.2/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.6.

Every track is solid. The features slot in smoothly. It’s a mixtape more than an LP for sure. No real cohesion between tracks.
Such a tight album. Great production and sharp verses delivered in Push's trademark flow. What more do you need?
Probably the best rap album of the year.
Never been a west fan but he's done a fine job here. Very enjoyable. Mind you, west still sounds wft awful on the mic as his verse shows. However good it is, it's not an album is it? It's an EP.
Easily Pusha T's best album, as well as one of the best instances of production on the part of Kanye West. The short run time allows for increased focus on the bars and concepts Push is trying to convey. Daytone is unbelievably relistenable and arguably the best album (out of any genre) from 2018.
First, Pusha T is one of my favorite rappers of all time. Half of the famous Clipse duo he formed with his brother since the 1990s, Terrence Thornton aka Pusha T, had left the listeners in suspense after the release in 2015 of "King Push: The Prelude". Everyone was waiting for the release of "King Push". Then comes Kanye West, the genius, creator of the GOOD Music label, recovering a few months ago the new solo project of Pusha and renamed it "DAYTONA". Three years for 7 excellent tracks with great productions from West. Former dealer, Pusha T maintains an ambiguous relationship with drugs, essential subject of his lyrics for twenty years now. The cover is thus doubled with a disorder, as the testimony of the raw drug ravage on the African-American community, which will not spare Whitney Houston. What can 7 tracks tell us? An often symbolic figure, which offer us a condensed of Pusha's best style. One of the best hip-hop albums of the decade, surely the best thing from Pusha since Clipse.
Best track: "If You Know You Know"
Top Tracks: "If You Know You Know", "The Games We Play", "Come Back Baby"
Lyrically the best of Kanye's 2018 albums, but the beats are mostly good but not great in my opinion.
I love the instrumentals and the production on this album, Pusha-T's rapping is pretty good and his lyricism is interesting and fun to listen to
I really like Kanye's new thing with 7 songs per album because it helps the quality of albums like Daytona really stand out when they aren't full of filler and can be listened to in 20 minutes. I haven't heard too much Pusha but I reallyy like this album and I love Kanye's production.
Favourite tracks: If You Know You Know, The Games We Play
imma say that this is better than Ye and KSG. don't @ me... if we would, we shall call this the Wyoming Triptych (not including the NAS and Teyana Taylor albums... ). of the three principle albums of the Wyoming Triptych, I submit to you DAYTONA as the best of the three. Mainly because it doesn't have much Kanye on the mic (sorry kanye). Kanye is past his serious rhyming days... at first, I thought it was an elaborate troll job; even if it is, i'm over it. His beatmaking on this album is the best of Triptych. Aight maybe tied with KSG. but this one has Pusha who is in his lyrical Prime right now and we can't ignore that!!
