Very weird and interesting fusion of death metal and spiritual music. This album grew a lot on me.

Crazy to think that this concept came to be from 4chan, after asking users for two genres that might make an interesting blend.. SO GLAD this happened to be a suggestion (black metal / negro music), because it is fantastic.
Very Algiers-like, but on the heavier side or course.
Would definitely recommend - even if you've never ventured into Black Metal.

This is an absolute banger! It should get more attention over here. I don't even listen to metal, but this is fantastic and I would say, one of this year's best releases so far.
