It’s hard to fault Dev Hynes, the man has been putting out solid tunes for quite some time now. But on his latest record, there’s an extra layer of refinement in the way he approaches the difficult subject of depression, being less concerned with production finesse and more concerned with the songs sounding fresh from the heart.
Blood Orange has a beautiful voice and amazing talents. Look forward to more of him in the future!

Consistently good throughout the album. The sound has a certain permeating feeling to it outside of the lyrics. Very nice.
