I cannot understand these so-called fun bands, they are simply not that fun!
Probably the least amazing of the early Bonzos. Not bad, but doesn't have the pizzazz of Gorilla or Granny's Greenhouse, or even Keynsham. Good to have for a complete collection, but otherwise sort of meh.
Gorillas is my favorite because it was the first album I heard from this very special band. However, this is probably their best -- "I'm the Urban Spaceman" (their only real hit), plus so many of their classic tracks but the best being the last two "Mr. Apollo" and my all time favorite "Canyons Of Your Mind". The latter has the distinction of having the best ever worst guitar solo...brilliant.
